Philipp Klakow founded Backyard Design in 2011 out of a back yard in Southern California. Fifteen years on, he is in the building most days — splitting time across management, product development, and marketing.

Tommy Searle is our UK Brand Ambassador. The reigning British MX2 champion picked Backyard as a customer first, ran the kits through the championship season, and clinched the title on a Triumph at the final round.
